History

The abacus is believed to have originated in Babylon and was used in ancient times in Europe, China, Russia, and the Near East. It was used by merchants in Europe and the Arabic world during the Middle Ages.

How it works

The abacus has rows or columns of beads that represent the digits of a number, with each column representing a different place value. For example, one column might represent the hundreds place, while another represents the thousands place.

Uses

The abacus can perform basic arithmetic functions like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as square and cube roots.

ABACUS is not only for the quick solving mathematical problems but also a whole brain development program designed especially for children in the group of 4-14 years.

This course stimulated both side of the brain which leads to enhancing below skill.
